National United University’s Office of International and Cross-Strait Affairs hosted the “Micron Career Workshop: Build Your Future Career – Resume Writing and Interview Skills” on May 20, inviting representatives from global semiconductor leader Micron Technology Taiwan to campus for a face-to-face career development session with students. Nearly 50 students participated in the event, filling the venue and creating an enthusiastic and highly interactive atmosphere.

The workshop featured an introduction to Micron, practical resume-writing tips, interview strategies, and a career Q&A session, giving students a valuable opportunity to gain firsthand insight into the talent needs and corporate culture of the technology industry. Micron representatives also shared current trends in the semiconductor sector, advice on preparing for job applications, and real-world recruitment experiences, helping students develop stronger career-planning awareness and enhance their competitiveness in the job market.

Students actively participated throughout the session, raising questions on topics ranging from resume preparation and interview techniques to internship opportunities and future career pathways. Through direct exchanges with industry professionals, many students gained a clearer understanding of the semiconductor industry and developed a more concrete sense of direction for their future careers and job-search preparation.

As part of the event, Micron Taiwan also introduced an exclusive resume submission channel for NUU students, offering them a dedicated opportunity to apply for positions with the company. Students whose resumes pass the initial screening may proceed directly to the subsequent interview process, providing an opportunity to connect with the technology industry at an earlier stage of their career development. A QR code for resume submission was also displayed at the venue, and many students actively inquired about available positions and submitted their resumes following the workshop.

National United University remains committed to strengthening students’ career exploration and connections with industry. Through practical career development activities organized in collaboration with leading companies, the University continues to help students better understand industry needs, prepare for the workplace, and build stronger capabilities for future employment.
