拉曼的原理是基於入射光與材料的非彈性交互作用,影響鍵結電子的振動而分析原子鍵結的分析技術。拉曼的優點還包括:不需製備樣品,對樣品的破壞性小;水對訊號背景值的影響低,光譜較為乾淨;搭配顯微鏡,可對樣品做局部觀察等。

Raman spectroscopy is based on the inelastic interaction between incident light and a material. By analyzing changes in molecular or lattice vibrations, it can be used to characterize atomic bonding and material structures. Its advantages include minimal sample preparation and low sample damage. In addition, water produces relatively little interference in the spectral background, resulting in cleaner spectra. When combined with a microscope, Raman spectroscopy also enables localized observation and analysis of specific areas of a sample.

The laboratory is dedicated to the development of Industry 4.0 technologies and the integration of related emerging technologies. Its mission is to enhance students’ professional competitiveness while supporting industrial advancement and innovation in Taiwan. Building on its own core technologies, the laboratory systematically integrates robotic arms, machine learning, machine vision, and automation equipment. It is the only laboratory in the Miaoli area that combines both research and development capabilities with system integration expertise.

精密加工與智慧製造實驗室

實驗室地點:A1-209


本實驗室具有智慧遠端監控技術及加工線上同步量測能力,在遠端監控方面除了即時加工動態的紀錄外亦可接收與傳遞加工資訊,使管理加工製程以及刀具壽命上更有效率,而同步量測方面則可使品管更為精確。

The laboratory is equipped with intelligent remote monitoring technologies and in-process measurement capabilities. Its remote monitoring system not only records real-time machining operations, but also receives and transmits machining data, enabling more efficient production process management and tool life monitoring. In-process measurement further improves the accuracy and efficiency of quality control.

超高效液相層析串聯質譜儀

超高效液相層析串聯質譜儀為高階微量分析儀器,可應用於環境污染物與職業毒物分析、食品污染物分析、人體生物檢體環境荷爾蒙、化妝保養品成份開發、藥物成分分析等分析項目。

The Ultra-High-Performance Liquid Chromatography–Tandem Mass Spectrometry (UHPLC-MS/MS) system is an advanced analytical instrument designed for highly sensitive trace analysis. It can be applied to the analysis of environmental pollutants and occupational toxicants, food contaminants, endocrine-disrupting chemicals in human biological samples, ingredients used in cosmetics and personal care product development, as well as pharmaceutical compounds.

銀髮健康智慧宅

實驗室地點:B4-101


本實驗室的主要內容包含互動機器人、智慧宅控制系統、行為預測分析系統、手勢與語音居家控制系統及客語智慧宅控制系統等。本特色實驗室的目的係建構一個「適合銀髮族生活的智慧居家環境」。

The laboratory focuses on interactive robots, smart home control systems, behavior prediction and analysis systems, gesture- and voice-based home control systems, and smart home control systems with Hakka-language support. The laboratory aims to create an intelligent living environment designed to support the daily needs, safety, and quality of life of older adults.

The laboratory provides farmers in the Miaoli area with fast and reliable testing services, helping reduce testing costs and turnaround time while enhancing the market competitiveness of agricultural products from Miaoli County. It also contributes to food safety and helps safeguard public health through professional testing and quality assurance.

智慧攝影棚的設計與規劃,係以 Lev Manovich 的「新媒體」概念出發,旨在建立多媒體製作環境,整合廣播、電影、電視、動畫、App、虛擬實境等各類媒體文本製作。

The Programming Hub provides a collaborative space for skilled programmers across the University to exchange ideas, share experience, and further develop their technical abilities. It also serves as a practice-oriented environment that connects programming education with real-world application. 綠色能源材料實驗室發展奈米級表面處理技術。太陽光電、風力發電等綠色能源材料製備,涉及多階段表面處理製程。透過自動機械傳輸與排程,可提升製程穩定度與良率。

The Green Energy Materials Laboratory focuses on the development of nanoscale surface treatment technologies. The fabrication of green energy materials for applications such as solar photovoltaic and wind power systems involves multiple stages of surface treatment. Through automated material handling and process scheduling, the laboratory aims to improve process stability, production efficiency, and overall yield.

液流電池可應用於大型電網儲電。大量機車快充時所需電流較大,可能影響電網供電穩定。充電站儲電設備可供應快充所需的瞬間大電流;市電則可於24小時內以小電流對電池充電,以平穩電網供電。

Flow batteries can be used for large-scale grid energy storage. When multiple electric motorcycles are fast-charged simultaneously, the high instantaneous power demand may affect grid stability. The charging station’s energy storage system can supply the large current required for rapid charging, while electricity from the grid can recharge the batteries gradually over a 24-hour period at a lower current. This helps reduce peak power demand and maintain a more stable electricity supply.

本實驗室提供學生動手修護電動機車的實作場域。透過機車診斷、拆解、零件更換與組裝,讓學生對於電動機車運作原理、電動機車特性及操作安全有更深入的了解。

The laboratory provides students with a hands-on learning environment for electric motorcycle maintenance and repair. Through vehicle diagnostics, disassembly, component replacement, and reassembly, students gain a deeper understanding of the operating principles and characteristics of electric motorcycles, as well as the safety procedures required for their proper operation and maintenance.

The laboratory is designed to develop students’ advanced professional knowledge of electric vehicles. It provides a hands-on environment where students can operate, test, and measure the performance characteristics of key electric motorcycle components. Through practical experimentation, students gain a deeper understanding of these components from the perspectives of mechanical engineering, electronics, physics, and chemistry.
